Why AssetJay exists
Small teams track equipment in spreadsheets nobody maintains. When someone leaves or something breaks, nobody knows who has what, where the receipt is, or if the warranty is still valid. AssetJay makes it fast to log things when you buy them and nudges you before you forget. It takes 30 seconds to add an asset, and the app stays out of your way until you actually need it.
How we handle your data
Hosted on Supabase (PostgreSQL)
Your data lives in a PostgreSQL database managed by Supabase, with each organisation’s data kept separate by row-level security. Database and files are stored in the EU (Stockholm). Some providers, including Vercel, Anthropic and Resend, may process data in the US.
Encryption at rest and in transit
Data in the database and file storage is encrypted on disk (AES-256, by Supabase). Connections to AssetJay use HTTPS (TLS).
Magic link authentication
You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email. No passwords to store or lose.
Third parties we use
Supabase (database and auth), Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email delivery and inbound receipt import), Lodd (privacy-friendly analytics), Slack (an internal notification to us when someone signs up, containing their name, email address, organisation, country and estimated device count), and Anthropic (AI extraction only; Anthropic may retain inputs for a limited period, currently up to 30 days, under its own policy, and does not use them for training).
Export your data, any time
Download your assets, people, document list and history from Settings as one JSON file. Uploaded files (receipts, photos) aren’t included yet.
Delete it yourself
Close your account from Settings and your organisation’s data and files are deleted. Only the organisation owner can close the account, and other members’ sign-in accounts aren’t removed. No email thread required.
Built on audited infrastructure
Your data runs on Supabase, Vercel and Stripe, all independently SOC 2 audited.

Who is AssetJay for?
AssetJay is built for small and medium businesses that don't have a dedicated IT department. If you're a founder, office manager, or ops lead who got stuck tracking company equipment, it's for you.
How does AssetJay handle my data?
Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database on Supabase with encryption at rest and in transit. Authentication uses magic links so no passwords are stored. Third-party services include Supabase, Stripe, Vercel, Resend, Lodd (privacy-friendly analytics), Slack (an internal sign-up notification) and Anthropic for AI extraction only.
Does AssetJay have SOC 2 certification?
Not yet. AssetJay is built on SOC 2 audited infrastructure including Supabase, Vercel, and Stripe, but does not have its own certification at this time.
